After failing to find a camp site at King's Bottom the first night, I had success Friday morning on my way out to Pritchett Canyon. Not only did I get a site, but there was a trail heading right out the back and down to the Colorado River. Good enough for me--that's where I setup my tent and proceeded to cook dinner. The rest of the gang wouldn't arrive until 9pm so I had nothing to do but eat, relax and watch the river go by.
