Day 3: Goosberry Top of the Rim

A huge view from the top of the Goosberry Trail. As with Upheaval Dome, there was a parking lot with drive-up access to the top of the trail from the Canyonlands road system. This was even stranger feeling than the first time because we'd been in near isolation for several days so seeing the 'ol Winnebagos parked across the way was strange. The trailhead is visible (but nearly impossible to see at this distance) just to the left of the canyon head near the center of the picture. You can make out the sandy wash the trail follows, however.
