One of my favorite man-made landmarks--the Moab potash plant. Henry led out and we ended up following Amasa Back until the rim ended at a huge cliff overlooking the Colorado River and, you guessed it, the potash plant. We stopped for lunch and it was really a great spot. You can see some holding areas, evaporation ponds and the railroad tracks for hauling the potash away. |
