The scale of this picture is a little tough to appreciate. What you have is a final look back down Pritchett Canyon after scrambling the last hundred feet or so to the top. The road can be seen as a ribbon of dirt meandering down through the center of the picture. On a hot day with sand blowing all over the place the last climb out of Pritchett is not what I was hoping to find. It gets steep and loose and would've been tough going even with better traction. There were some pretty interesting 4x4 challenges towards the top of the canyon, I'd like to see one of those guys going through.
But still, this is Moab beauty. |
